Olawale Anifowose graduated from the SMC University, Switzerland in 2018 with a doctoral degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He obtained master’s degree in marketing in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2000, both from the University of Lagos.

In July 2003, Olawale joined the Enterprise Development Centre and is currently the General Manager, Programs and Partnerships. Olawale has gained 19years experience in enterprise development and has been part of the team that successfully implemented several SME development projects such as the Youth with innovation in Nigeria (YouWiN!) – the Federal Government of Nigeria business plan competition that evaluated over 200,000 concept notes in three (3) years, Mastercard Foundation-Transforming Nigeria Youth Program.

He doubles as the Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Nigeria, a member of the Executive Committee for GEN Africa and member of the executive advisory board for Nigeria Climate Innovation Centre. Olawale leads the faculty for entrepreneurship course at the Pan Atlantic University undergraduate school.

Olawale is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and an alumnus of the US State Department, International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on SME Development. A certified Business Development Service Provider at Professional level, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, a certified Microsoft Build Your Business trainer and a certified Entrepreneurial Coach from Learning and Skills Management Centre (LSM), United Kingdom. Olawale sits on a few advisory boards and very keen about agriculture.
