Kolawole Oyeneyin sits at the intersection of Investments, Technology, Economic Development, Public Policy, and People, as an experienced entrepreneur, investor and leader. He’s a Partner and co-founder at Volition Cap – an African-focused Private Equity company. He’s the Founder & Chairman of Venia Group, a venture creation & investment company. He’s also a co-Lead at Opportunik Global Fund, a Cayman/Mauritius managed fund for retail investors.

As a faith-driven leader, his impact cuts across human capital development, advanced mentoring and high impact networks. From The Kola Oyeneyin Foundation, The KO Circle (for Gen Zs), Adullam Nation, to Believers in Business Network (BBN), Kola is an ardent investor in people and platforms that advance humanity.

Kola holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is an Edward Mason and Gleitsman Fellow, and a Fellow of Harvard Center for Public Leadership. He was honored with The Eric Yankah Award, for “distinguished contribution to the Mason program and Harvard Kennedy School“. He also holds a degree in Computer Science, from the University of Nottingham, UK.

In 2020, Kola was selected as one of the “The Most Influential People of African Descent” by MIPAD, a UN-backed organization. He is a 2022 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, of the African Leadership Institute. He continues to balance his entrepreneurial passion with his nation-building drive and an unwavering commitment to family & mentees, while being very active in his Christian faith.
